Website features

The website contains no analytics or advertising trackers. Newsletter registration is not yet enabled. Payment data is processed to administer your media support. Making a payment does not subscribe you to the newsletter. We do not share mailing lists with advertising partners.

Hosting and secure delivery

We use Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, to deliver this website. When you request a page, Cloudflare processes technical connection data, including your IP address, the requested address, time and technical information about your browser and connection. This enables content delivery and protection against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in an available and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cloudflare operates a worldwide network, so processing outside the European Economic Area may occur. Technical data is processed for these purposes under the retention rules applicable to the service. We do not maintain our own visitor database for this static website.

Cloudflare explains its international-transfer safeguards in its data processing agreement. Further information is available in the Cloudflare privacy policy.

Language selection

When you select a language, your browser saves your choice on your device under the name inclusion-language. No personal identifier is created for this purpose. The setting remains until you change it or delete the website data in your browser. Without a saved preference, a supported browser language is used. You can choose another offered language at any time.

External links

Sources are provided as external links. Social-network content is not automatically embedded. When you open an external link, the privacy information of that provider applies.

Opening checkout

When you choose a support option, we first open a confirmation page on inclusionglobe.com. The __Host-ig_support cookie is set for ten minutes. It contains a random identifier, the selected support option, language and issue time, but no name or email address. It validates the form request and helps prevent duplicate checkout creation. Stripe checkout opens after you confirm.

To prevent misuse of payment requests, we store an HMAC-derived IP identifier, a request counter, the time window and expiry time in a private Cloudflare D1 database. The IP address is not stored there in plain text. Expired entries are progressively removed during subsequent payment requests; the expiry time is therefore not a fixed deletion deadline. Payment events are processed separately to administer payments, invoices and subscriptions.

Payments through Stripe

We use Stripe Payments Europe, Limited and Stripe Technology Europe, Limited in Ireland to process payments and manage recurring support. Checkout and the customer portal open on Stripe. You enter the required payment and billing details there. Full card details are not stored on our web server.

We process the information needed for payments, invoices and support: your name, email address, billing address, any company and tax details, and the amount, currency, payment status, invoice identifiers and subscription identifiers. Processing is necessary to administer your support under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and meet legal invoicing and record-retention obligations under Article 6(1)(c) GDPR. Data needed to prevent misuse or resolve payment disputes is processed on the basis of our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Stripe also processes technical data and payment-method information, particularly for payment processing, authentication and fraud prevention. Depending on the activity, Stripe acts as a processor or an independent controller. Stripe's privacy policy and data processing agreement explain recipients, international transfers including transfers to the United States, and the safeguards used.

Retention of payment records

We generally retain invoices and related tax records for seven years from the end of the relevant calendar year. Records needed for pending proceedings may have to be retained longer. Other payment and customer-service data is deleted when it is no longer needed for its purpose and no legal retention obligation applies.

Your rights

Where personal data is processed, you have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the applicable legal conditions. You may withdraw consent you have given with effect for the future.

You may lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.

Article likes

When you click “Like”, we store a random identifier in a necessary cookie named __Host-ig_likes for up to one year. It associates your vote with this browser and lets you remove it. The vote applies to the article across all languages. The feature is independent of social networks and requires no account.

A separate Cloudflare database stores a cryptographic derivative of the identifier and your vote for each article. Names, email addresses and IP addresses are not stored with votes. The identifier is not used for advertising or visit analytics. Removing a like deletes its record; otherwise the record is retained for counting while the article remains available. Short-lived cryptographic connection identifiers help prevent automated repeat voting. They expire within ten minutes and are gradually deleted during subsequent operation. Processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing the requested reaction feature and preventing misuse under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can remove your like by clicking the button again. Deleting the cookie or letting it expire prevents us from associating the existing vote with this browser.

Contact form and email

When you contact us through the form or by email, we process your name, email address and message to handle your enquiry. For form submissions, this also includes the subject, selected language, receipt time and reference number. Forms are stored in a separate, non-public Cloudflare database. Contacting us does not subscribe you to the newsletter. Please do not submit confidential health information.

Enquiries are sent to our editorial inbox at news@inclusionglobe.com for handling. The mailbox is provided through EuroDNS S.A. using Open-Xchange. Incoming email is also forwarded to the business address reinhard.rodlauer@rodlauer.com of our managing director, Reinhard Rodlauer. He also receives an internal copy of outgoing correspondence about enquiries. These copies support the handling and follow-up of business correspondence.

For email notifications about new form submissions, we use Brevo, operated by Sendinblue, 9–17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France. The enquiry content, sender details and the recipient and delivery data needed to send the message are processed for this purpose. Email goes to our editorial inbox, with an internal copy to Reinhard Rodlauer; the visitor's address is used as the reply address where technically supported. This does not trigger an automatic reply to the visitor. Further information is available in the EuroDNS privacy policy, the Open-Xchange service terms and the Brevo terms, including the data processing agreement in Appendix 3.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual enquiries, or our legitimate interest in handling enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. A daily cleanup removes form messages and their internal sending-status records from the active Cloudflare contact database no later than 90 days after receipt. This period does not apply to email in mailboxes, forwarded copies or email providers' delivery and backup records. We retain business correspondence for as long as needed to handle and document the matter or meet legal obligations. Technical delivery and backup data are subject to the providers' respective service and retention rules.

To limit abuse, we temporarily process the connection address into a keyed, non-reversible verification value; no plain IP address is stored in the contact database. These values expire within two hours and are removed at the next daily cleanup. The form receipt confirms that the enquiry was stored, not that an email was delivered.
