Initial findings and recommendations on the Lienz–Innsbruck connection were available in June 2014. The study examined the importance of public transport for education and employment opportunities in East Tyrol. It highlighted good connections, affordability, accessibility and suitable timetables. The ageing population and access to healthcare were also among the issues addressed.
