Albertina Camarada of the A4s association spoke about challenges facing people with albinism. Other disability representatives shared experiences and suggestions with officials from social action, youth, education, transport and health ministries. A national plan sets the framework

The meeting followed the adoption of PLANIAPED, Angola’s inclusion and support plan for 2023–2027. Presidential Decree 217/23, published on 31 October 2023, approved the plan. Its stated scope includes inclusive education, health, employment, sport, mobility and physical accessibility, linking disability inclusion across public policy areas. [2][1]

Budget scrutiny follows

It reported a 200% increase in the allocation for those programmes in the 2025 budget after engagement with the finance ministry and parliamentarians. [3]
