Collecting experience and reaching listeners

In a 3 December 2021 account, UNDP representative Ricarda Rieger described training in disability-data collection supported with partner organisations. She also highlighted a national radio programme featuring deaf, blind and autistic community representatives. The work sought to bring people’s own accounts into public discussion and policy decisions. [2]

A later national action plan

On 23 February 2026, the government launched a national action plan for 2026–2030 to implement the UN committee’s recommendations. UNDP reported seven consultations between 2023 and 2025 and participation by disability organisations. The plan set priorities across education, health, justice, transport and social protection. [3]
