Families and education professionals

The society reported a parents’ guide developed with the ministry responsible for families, women and children, alongside training for education inspectors. Its account, written by Khaoula Khemakhem and colleagues, also described outreach in remote areas. These activities sought to connect families with services and strengthen professionals’ understanding of children’s needs. [1]

An inclusion project in the south

Humanity & Inclusion’s 2024 country report described a separate project in Tozeur and Médenine, supported by Monaco’s international cooperation department. Its second phase, scheduled from February 2023 to January 2026, combined professional training, coordination between services and work to improve autistic children’s inclusion in ordinary educational settings.
